Cobham Rugby

RFU Seal of Approval

The Active Sports 'Seal of Approval' accreditation programme forms an important part of Community Rugby's drive towards supporting clubs to improve their provision of rugby for young people. In association with Sport England and the 'Clubmark' scheme, the RFU aim is to set standards of quality control that will produce quality clubs across the country.

Community Rugby has introduced the Active Sports 'Seal of Approval' accreditation programme as a method of examining, maintaining and improving the provision of rugby in the junior section of an Active Sports rugby club. The accreditation will recognize the effort and achievement of Cobham's volunteers in reaching the required standards of a club committed to the Active Sports programme.

The accreditation will also show all those with an interest in rugby and sports development that Cobham RFC is providing its young people with a safe, well organized and enjoyable environment in which to learn and play rugby.

Why has Cobham RFC gained Seal of Approval?

• To secure recognition for all the work done by the volunteers in the mini & youth section
• To demonstrate to RFU that the sections are being run to the highest possible standard
