The Commercial Director is the person responsible for the Profit and Loss Account of the commercial activities of the club .
The success of the commercial operations is essential to support and fund the sporting activities of the club and as such the role offers a great degree of satisfaction for the right person.
The clubhouse is efficiently run on a day-to-day basis by the clubhouse team with little requirement for involvement from the commercial director to whom the team reports. It is however the director's responsibility to drive the P&L and to offer guidance, assistance and decisions to the team whenever required. The role is ideally suited to someone with a background as a business owner themselves and with a certain degree of spare time. It is not suitable for anyone in full time employment.
