At the annual Value the Volunteer lunch Chairman Steve heard thanked all the volunteers who ensure the club operates so effectively
In particular Steve mentioned Steve Spick and Chris Eddy from the mini section Nik Myers from the youth, Gary Knowler and Nick Button Brown from the girls section.
In addition Steve thanked Dino Adams and Denise Symons for all their hard work as pitch co-ordinators and John Kilby the clubs resident photographer
All their dedication to the club was rewarded with small tokens of esteem
Following the presentations Anthony Shenton, who organises the Surrey Under 21 competition which is so important in retaining links to youth players and linking them with the senior squads, asked Mary Douglas to present the John Douglas Cup to President Lionel Frewin following Cobham's success last year
